Lucky Forrales
HUMAN
Waiter at the Nightclub
16
Lucky doesn't think of himself as such. Bullied since he was very little and both rejected and hated by his parents, he never had a good outlook on life or cared to dream of improvement. His worst possible memories were of the day he was captured by strange men and tortured. He doesn't quite remember what happened. Unknown to him, he had been mistaken for a well known shifter in the area, and the scientists of the lab took him, thinking they had their target. When they realized the mistake, they drugged him with enough narcotics to kill him and dropped him off in an alley. He didn't die, but he did lose a good portion of his memories, including the ones from that night. Now with a head full of vague, distorted images and memories of excruciating pain, he doesn't think anything his parents do to him is all that bad. From his experiences, Lucky has lost most if not all his self esteem. He wears long sleeves and baggy clothing to hide his body as he is very self conscious of it. He doesn't really make friends. The ones he has hardly know anything about him, and he keeps it that way. Lucky's only talent seems to be in writing, specifically, poetry. He is very good, but everything he writes is twisted and upsetting. He had an online following for a while, but took everything down from the writing site he used when his mother began monitoring his computer time. He keeps his poetry in notebooks stashed under the floorboards of his room. He also plays the piano and occasionally the violin. He works at the nightclub as a waiter, only because his father told him to. He originally wanted to work with animals or intern at the hospital, but his father would not allow it. So Lucky slaves away at a job he hates to give his hard earned cash to a man he hates more. Because of Lucky's low esteem, scared nature (often confused for a shy nature), and very gentle manner, he comes across as very feminine and rather weak. He's stronger than he looks and can hold his own in a fight, but there are some things that shake him so badly he can hardly breathe, and that is when he is most vulnerable. He has no knowledge of shapeshifters and considers his life dull and horrid. More often than not, he has contemplated suicide.

Eulalia Faust
HUMAN
Librarian
16
Eulalia (pronounced: you-lah-lee-uh) Faust is a daring young girl with a knack for finding adventure and danger. She is rather bright and can adapt to situations like any old pro, as if she is completely good at everything. She isn't, but her calm demeanor and quick thinking make her struggles seem effortless and her trials seem a breeze. With long, dark tresses and sky blue optics, she is a stunning beauty hidden under thrift store clothes, military surplus, and a splatter of the outdoors. She loves hiking, camping out, rock climbing, fishing, kayaking, and backpacking. Her second passion is books, which she always delves into whenever she can while working at the library or even after hours. She remains a big mystery concerning her affairs with shifters. She appears to know about them, but her reasons for helping or refusing help are unknown. There is definitley more to this girl than meets the eye.

Dastan Moradi
SHIFTER - unknown type
17
Noblemen from Saudi Arabia are seldom heard of, if never. It's a war zone out there, but somehow the Moradi family has remained wealthy, strong, and alive. Dastan is the thirteenth son of the lord of the house. As such, he has no real standing and probably won't inherit anything. He remains steadfast and determined to prove his way in the world, but he doesn't altogether care of the way his family ignores him or that he has nothing going for him but the family name. He moved to the city here to sort of start fresh. He has varied servants living with him on his own estate, but no family members around him save the ones who come to visit for business and political dealings. There's no such thing as a visit for the sake of a visit. Being wealthy has its perks. He goes to a private, very privileged school and has access to lots of things most could only dream of. He pushes himself very hard and works for everything, determined not to have his entire life, fortune, and achievements just handed to him because of status. He thinks status is something to be won by merit and not by birth, something the world doesn't tend to agree with, not on the actual privileged end at least. Dastan is a rather handsome young man with shaggy, dark brown hair and, surprisingly, dark green eyes. He has tanned skin with small scars here and there. He is a shifter, but he has never tried to discover what kind, and therefore, does not shift.

Ethan Dunedefair
HUMAN
19
With a passion for action and an addiction to adrenalin, Ethan Dunedefair is a very dangerous kid with a daredevil lifestyle who never seems to accept consequences for his actions or care about how he affects others. He has a very bizarre way of looking at the world, which the majority of can be summed up into a simple rule of his: if you don't like it, get rid of it. Get rid of it can entail anything from destroying, breaking, or killing whatever it is he doesn't like. He hates shifters. His little sister was a shifter. He killed her. Simple. In his head at least. He thinks the world is purely black and white and revolves around him. Any that try proving him wrong usually end up dead or close to it. He is very unpredictable and never sticks by his word, except that rule of course. One minute he'll say he will do something, then he won't. He'll join a club and leave it for months before going back in as if nothing happened. He doesn't really understand the concept of time and has no earthly worries for things like morality or permanent disfiguring. Ethan was brainwashed into a cult when he was ten which aided in destroying his psyche. They worshipped a false god called Mordrun. Ethan isn't part of the cult officially anymore, but he insists in following their ways and bizarre rituals. What the specifics are or what this god is like, he doesn't really explain. It's a mix of multiple pagan deities with varied personalities and demands. He intends to serve this false god to the best of his ability, believing it to be real. It is the excuse of his strange behaviors as he believes he is on some road to redemption through his practices. Probably lost forever in the evil, twisted mindset he has driven himself into, there's no real hope of getting on his good side and at a point where he won't mindlessly kill shifters. Ethan is about nineteen years old, though he looks older and sicker with a pale, wan face, very anorexic body, and sickly gold eyes. His hair is ashy and a ratty mess all the time, falling into his face and obscuring his raptor-like vision. He surrounds himself always with dogs that he specially trains.

Significant Snicket
SHIFTER
15
All he ever wanted was to be an artist. His parents were. That's why his name is so strange. But then, Significant realized he hated art. Problem was, his parents saw his ingenuity and decided to make money off it. They forced Significant to paint, and paint he did. They never gave him credit and took all the cash. Significant hates art more than anything now. More than his own issues with being a shifter. He can shapeshift into a parakeet. A brilliant, golden parakeet. He feels so weak and pathetic in the little form. When it first happened, the family's fat cat Hemingway chased him. The cat trapped Significant in its nasty smelling jaws. He'd never felt such fear and pain before, he felt he'd explode. He shifted back, but during the struggle as he turned larger, his right arm was ripped off, and when he assumed full form, he went into unconsciousness from the pain and blood loss. The doctors claimed a wild animal did it, and they were almost right. Now Significant has only one arm. For whatever odd reason, he has his right wing still. He assumes that the wings are in correlation with his shoulder blades than his arms. He hates it. He hates all birds. He buys them and puts them in cages, then takes them out at night and squeezes them in his fist till their heads pop. He hates himself for it, but he can't stop. Significant is very disturbed. But no one can help him. Not even his family. hey don't know he's a shifter, and he won't tell them. if they knew, they'd send him to the scientists. They already did it to his little brother. He's scared. He's crazy. And there isn't a thing he can do.
