Soleil Arabesque
Sanctuary
(lost an arm by the second site)
Soleil is a very free spirit, much like the nature of his element: wind. He doesn't follow many rules or ever set limits on himself. He wants to try and do everything. He absolutley loves the great outdoors, especially high places where he can feel the wind on his face and the breezes in his hair. He has this intense desire to fly, and wishes he could. To compensate, he's going for a pilot's license, as his knowledge of his abilities is null, and he figures planes are the only way to fly. He is a loner and thinks to himself that he hates everyone and everything on earth. He's not just wind, he's a storm, a little storm that's brewing and will eventually break. Soleil's history begins before his actual existence. His mother was a seeker; Domina Arabesque. But before that, she was just an ordinary commoner: a secretary for a law firm. A bunch of criminals did not like her boss, so they decided to teach him a lesson: by going after his favorite little subordinate. She left the firm and moved away to the seemingly nicer town of Mapleridge. But when discoveries were made of the gifted, an old feeling rose up in her. She did not want her then thirteen year old son to live in a world full of bizarre people who could wipe him out in the blink of an eye. So she joined the Seekers, not telling Soleil of this. A few months after she joined, and as she became more exposed to the world of the gifted, she discovered something: her son was one of these. Confused and enraged, then full of regret, she spent a few weeks tracking down known Gifted and sent him off to the Sanctuary with them. Not long after he passed to their hands, she ate her own bullets, determined to keep his existence and whereabouts a secret. Soleil does not understand. They say he is gifted, but he thinks he's a regular human. There's the slightest sense in him that he isn't totally ordinary, but as he has not learned of his own ability to manipulate air and wind, he has no real knowing of what this feeling comes from. He always had a feeling that he didn't belong, and from that, he had and continues to alienate himself from others. Soleil stands on the verge of gifted and human. A very strange edge to balance on, and one day, he'll finally realize his potential. The only question is when. Now fourteen, Soleil has never really felt lonelier. He never knew his father, and now that his mother's dead and he's surrounded by strangers, he's not sure he ever will feel at home again. He doesn't look like his mother at all. She was blonde and blue eyed. Soleil has black hair and dark gray to the point of black eyes. He's also pale, thin, and a little weak. He doesn't carry himself well, always staring at the ground and shuffling his feet. It's kind of pathetic to see him so, but there is a ferocity there when need be, most present in those dark eyes of his.

Daegan Gray
Sanctuary
(swallowed fire and died in the second site)
Daegan Gray has such an odd name, but then again, he is quite the unordinary person. If being a so called 'gifted' means anything to you, then you already know where this is headed. He indeed has a power. He calls it the domino effect: an ability to cause a systematic chain reaction starting from a single occurrence that produces a certain result. It's not that he just causes these domino effects, even normal people can wether they know it or not, but Daegan has the ability to see exactly what he has to do to produce a certain result, wether it is a drastic thing like throwing someone under a bus to just knocking over a cup of coffee. There are times when the chain reaction does not go the way he wants it to, and this almost always ends up badly for him. Daegan comes across as an optimist. The silver-lining-in-the-clouds kind of guy. He is always trying to boost people up, even if it's just the simple act of being there when they need him even if he doesn't say or do anything except stand there. He, like Kyle, takes on a big brother role with others, but he does the same with Kyle too, always trying to look out for his friend. It's partly because he's older than everybody at nineteen -almost twenty- and partly because that's just the way he's always been. He always has a smile on his face, unless he's concentrating or thinking really hard. But otherwise he never has a reason to frown, even though the world for gifted isn't the best right now. There's always something wrong with the world, and right now it's him and others like him. He figures he's just going to let it blow over and see what happens. Of course he does get livid at the injustice of the Seekers and will do everything he can to stop them, but he doesn't let their plight affect him that badly. He takes anything harsh with a grain of salt and responds rather differently to cruel jibes than people would expect. On the other hand though, when Daegan falls, he falls hard. There is only so much a human being can take, and though the Gifted have abilities, they are not so psychologically different than people. He has had his lowest lows before, and he hates them. Sure, he can bounce back easy enough, but a lot of it is just bottled up. He seems open and trusting of everybody, but if anyone really thought about it, they'd see that they don't know all that much about Daegan's life before the Sanctuary. Perhaps Kyle knows. It's anyone's guess. There are reasons Daegan keeps it to himself, though now that he's royally screwed either way just for having a power, keeping his past secret doesn't seem to make any impact on his future. Daegan was an arsonist when he was little. It started when he made small fires with matches and lighters at the age of five and six. When he was eight, he turned himself into an orphan when he set his own house on fire. His foster parents suffered a similar fate two years later. By then, there wasn't much of a doubt that the events were far too coincidental. The investigators also had proof this time since there was enough evidence left behind to point to arson. Daegan was put through serious therapy, and was then adopted, by all people, a fireman. Daegan had to have a name change and a new identity in order to be accepted in other schools, meaning that Daegan Gray is not his real name. He was passed off as the illegitimate son of the firefighter who adopted him. He looked up to the man immensely and wished someday he could follow in his footsteps. But as Daegan grew, he changed. A lot. Anyone who knew him back then would hardly recognize him these days. He hardly recognizes himself. He's proud though. He's come a long way from the mentally disturbed, lonely child of the past into a more caring and nurturing young man of the present. Now he has a new challenge to conquer, but he feels that he now has the chance to do something right with his newfound place and his new found abilities.

Navi and Regor Donces
Gifted
(Navi ate Regor, then Navi committed suicide: forced fates by the Seekers)
Navi (left) and Regor (right)
These two young men are twins. Yup. Twins. Both are seventeen years old, have fiery ginger hair, and brilliant, sky blue eyes. But unlike the sorts of twins you normally picture, these two are not all that mischievous, nor are they somber and brooding because of their crappy lives. They’re just average kids living average lives. Except for the powers bit. That’s not so average at all. They may share the same looks, but they have very different powers. Navi has a rather brutal power: he is able to eat humans without getting sick. The power has a drawback though: he becomes insatiable from this, and will often eat till he vomits and then keep going. He did it once, which is how they discovered this ability. His brother on the other hand has the ability to put anyone to sleep when he sings. He used this ability multiple times, but only in occasions where it could not be witnessed as an actual ability. More or less, he'd sing a child to sleep with a lullaby, much as any parent would do. His works one hundred percent of the time though. Because their powers are not blatantly obvious and can be controlled, they have managed to blend very well with society and stay out of harms way. On another note, Navi and Regor do not just differ by their abilities. One look at them, and you could hardly tell them apart, but when you hear them speak or interact with them, the difference is rather obvious. Navi appears to be very clueless. He loves people and gets along with them well enough, but he doesn't pick up on social cues very quickly. He doesn't realize when he annoys or angers people until they're pretty much past the point already. He can also be rather obtrusive, breaking into people's personal spaces with the finesse of an elephant. He means all this very innocently of course. If he becomes aware of his indecency, then he quickly tries to adjust. Regor on the other hand, is an extremist on another corner of the spectrum. Undoubtedly polite, he's very cold. He won't socialize unless there is a need to or if it will benefit him somehow. The only person he puts up with is his twin, but he does so gladly. Regor is far more observant and very calculative. He also has a thing for strategy, being a military history buff. The twins aren't perfect though. These seemingly exemplary descriptions are biased at best. There are other sides unexplored, sides that perhaps the twins themselves aren't fully aware of possessing. Though sociable and clumsy, Navi is constantly distressed. He won't show it in public or to his family, but Regor's seen it before. Navi is a mess. Ever since he first discovered his power, he is in constant fear of losing control. Of eating someone again. He wakes up screaming from nightmares with the taste of blood and bones and organs in his mouth. He tries to be happy all the time, because he's worried that anger will trigger his power. He's so afraid of himself that he handcuffs himself to his bed at night, just in case. He gets close to people, but not too close. He doesn't want people to find out what kind of monster he is underneath. He's not just a gifted, he's a murderer. And that is something he can't live with. Regor? Regor thinks his brother is pathetic. He is tired of always having to rescue Navi from stupid situations that he keeps getting into, wether silly things like his lack of social graces or his getting into trouble at school. Dozens of times, he's had to fight off bullies and other kids from beating up Navi, and frankly, he wished his brother would fight his own battles. He is, perhaps, what Navi fears the most as well, for when Regor witnessed Navi's ability, or whatever that was, he saw Navi, not as his twin, but as a monster, and that's all he's ever seen him as since. He only protects Navi because in that demented state, the thing demanded his protection. To preserve his own life, Regor protects it. He'd much rather blow his brother's brains out to forever stop the possibility of it eating him, but he can't bring himself to that. Perhaps because they are twins. Perhaps because they have a bond so much stronger than love. Perhaps because deep down, he still loves his brother with that all encompassing and unconditional love that he used to outwardly express so long ago. People are never perfect. People never conform. Such is the nature of these two. Twins. Brothers by blood. Brothers by more than blood. Yet ever waiting for and wondering who will destroy who first.

Thrace Dyme
Gifted
tortured and killed by Seekers)
One of the rich who's too good for the common folk, Thrace Dyme is the very wealthy heir of the Dyme estate. Originally from Greece, he still speaks with an accent, which makes him stick out like a sore thumb in the city of Mapleridge. Well, what used to make him stick out. Now the massive black wings sprouting from his shoulder blades are what attracts all the unwanted attention. His parents loved him enough not to hand him over to authorities. Instead, seeing as his mother was a highly reputable doctor, he was written off as being diagnosed with a very critical disease and had to be sent elsewhere. This is not true. He still lives in his parent's mansion. A prisoner in his own house. He hates it there and is often bored. He wants to fly. Being trapped, especially at the age of fifteen, is hard. He wants to be out there living life, fulfilling dreams, beginning new beginnings. But instead he is confined. His parents are wealthy enough to provide him with means of entertainment and plenty of intellectual supplies such as books and instruments to keep his mind engaged. He has a few talents contrived from these means, but it is not enough. His parents suspect that he wanders at night, but even if they truly know or not, they do not try and stop him. Thrace Dyme is Greek, but not by nationality. He was born and raised in areas around Mapleridge before they moved into a very large mansion outside the city.

Maudlin Viarro
Gifted
(tortured and killed by Seekers)
Maudlin, or just Maude, is a cat at heart. That is probably why he eventually became one. He was never quite aware just how like a cat he wanted to be. He wanted to be a prowler of the night. he wanted to sleep all day. He wanted to hunt. He wanted to swift and agile. And from all those things combined, he became a cat. A cat of a sort. He is still human, but he has cat ears, a cat tail, sharp incisors, and retractable claws. Maudlin is quite possibly the one person who is perfectly content with being Gifted. He sees no curse in it as others do, and he doesn't really bother trying to hide it if he doesn't feel the need. He frequents nightclubs and bars, taking part in gambling and petty thievery. He lives on the streets, which is a harsh and unforgiving world, but he accepts the challenge gladly. He likes to live on the edge and is a high risk, adrenalin junkie. There isn't a thing in the world he won't try doing, except drugs, cigarettes, and alcohol. He watched it destroy his father and decided not to follow in those steps. A little odd to see a young man like him who is so wild and careless lounging in a night club just drinking soda or something. He doesn't care for the stares. He sticks out, but it draws in interesting people. His kind of people. He's incredibly smart. He may not look it, and his family never thought so, but he has a very high IQ, shocking many teachers in his young life of schooling. He is very sociable and knows how to rub people the right way. Mostly the rich people. He gets lots of favors and has lived the high life many a time, tagging along to fancy dinner parties and events, eating quality food, hanging around classy, upscale places, winding up in the top clubs and bars in the cities. He loves his life. It's not always glitz and glam and wealth. In fact, many times it's running from Seekers and avoiding people for his appearance. But he knows how to play on sympathies and work people's feelings. In fact, a very rich, single lady gave him the keys to her studio apartment, which he often crashed at when he really needs to. All because he worked on her empathy towards the plight of less fortunates. She doesn't even care that he's gifted. He would never lie though, oh no. What he says about his life or his problems are true. Lies are eventually sought out. Besides, he has no need to lie. He has everything he needs.

Opi Oliphant
Gifted
(tortured but escaped from the Seekers)
Opi Oliphant can shift into a dolphin at will. It fits since he's always loved dolphins. At age two, he proclaimed that he wanted to be a dolphin when he grows up. Survives. Living isn't an option anymore. Not dying is his only driving force. Opi is nine years old. He has black hair and blue-violet eyes. He is very cute. As mentioned multiple times, he loves dolphins.

Savant Quinn
Gifted
(crushed between two vehicles and hospitalized)
Savant has a most unusual name. Perhaps because the name his psychoanalytical mother gave to him turned out to be what he was. A savant. And not by wishful thinking as any Gifted now has the ability to attain, but he was discovered to have it. Savant: a person with a mental disability who possesses profound abilities in an excess that is far beyond anything considered normal. Savant's natural born talents happen to be in anything strategic, logical, or metered. He can deconstruct and recreate military strategics. He can decipher any math problem. He can learn and play and create any song he wishes to. He is beyond mere prodigy. As for his mental disability, he suffers from schizoid personality disorder. Savant's blood can give people heightened physical abilities (ie: heightened senses, heightened speed, heightened strength, etc). His blood and the effects are highly addicting. He cannot get the same effects by drinking his own blood. In fact, he has no abilities of his own.
Emmett Isherwood
Human
(has been on two sites now and still was never rped)
Emmett is a rather odd person. Then again, who isn't? Emmett; an ex-marine, one of those people who's supposed to be tough and ruthless and confident, is probably the one person who most definitely isn't. Alright, he's tough. Very tough. Physically at least. But something just never clicked with him and that would be the fact where he was supposed to build mental barriers. He was supposed to be strong and resilient. He wasn't. While overseas on his first real mission, his unit was killed off and a few were captured. He was one of the captured ones, obviously, or he wouldn't be here today. He and his remaining buddies were tortured brutally for intel. Rather than actually give them the information, Emmett broke down instead. He broke down and shut up inside and became a rather pointless endeavor. When he and the unit were rescued, he was put into serious therapy, but even then, he never recovered. He's still mentally and emotionally weak, suffering from PTSD and something else entirely. Being trapped on the island hasn't helped either. On the outside, Emmett seems pretty normal. He's not a mumbling, bumbling idiot or anything. Psychologically he's messed up. After the whole capture incident, he's become severely obsessive and protective over those he cares for, yet at the same time, distances himself from them. It's hard to explain, but it's as though he will never let them get close to him. Emmett has also lost all sense of self. He can't stand up for or explain himself. Rather he shuts down and follows along with whatever people say, or he'll just deny what he may be thinking. That's another thing, he's unconscious of his own feelings and limits. He can't understand why he reacts in certain ways or his reasons for saying or thinking certain things. As to his own limits, he pushes himself past the edge of his own abilities and won't back down from it, usually causing himself and others harm.

Roman Avery
Human
(again, two sites but never rped)
The joker. The comic relief. The goofball. That's what everyone thinks when they think of Roman. He was always the cute little sidekick that every hero's got and no one else really wants because he's utterly useless. He gets the bad grades, does the dumb thing, panders to the masses with idiocy and farce. He's sadistic. Dominative. Manipulative. What he doesn't show is the most important and most deadliest part of him. On the inside, he harbors a young teen who has read the Art of War by Sun Tzu and actually tested some of those things within. On the inside, he harbors a superior and strategic mind. He's a puppeteer of the worst kind, controlling those around him without their knowing simply by affecting their emotions, thoughts, and actions. He learns his puppets well and then sends them off. He is incredibly smart. If ever he was really to take an IQ test that he wasn't lying in, it would be somewhere in the upper three digits. He doesn't like having the attention on him in such ways, which is why he'd rather have the attention on him drawn because of a more insignificant light. He can manipulate better from the shadows, and that's where he stays. Someone like him though has a very interesting flaw: he cannot understand or really play chess. He can move the pieces around, but he never gets to the finish of a game because of how frustrating it is. His stratagem stems from understanding his pawns. He studies them. Every one of his pawns has variables. He uses these variables to make his plans and achieve his goals. He studies people's personalities, morals, moods, actions, reactions, breaking points, etc because it fascinates him, and thanks to his incredible memory, he's able to retain all he learns and recall it in the future to use in his plots.

Callisto Agostini
Seeker
(same as above)
An Italian citizen by birth, his grandparents were originally from South Korea before fleeing to Italy during the Korean War. He was orphaned at age ten when his father was pushed in front of a bus by a man pickpocketing him and his mother committed suicide soon after. Callisto was raised by his uncle Donatello in the southern part of Rome where he lived most of his life. He joined the Carabinieri when he was nineteen. In 2003, he was caught in the blast of a suicide bombing on their base camp in Nasiriyah. He ended up in a coma for a total of two years, and when he came out of it, he didn't remember the incident. He lost most of the feeling in his left leg and side, a drastic decrease in vision despite corrective eye surgery, and occasionally limps at times. Because an amount of shrapnel ended up close to his heart and couldn't be surgically removed, as well as his other limiting injuries, he was honorably discharged from the military. Dead set on getting some kind of life back, he did an extraneous amount of physical therapy and fitness training before he went to the Federal Bureau of Investigations in America and became one of their agents. After a time, he left to become a Seeker when the discovery of the Gifted was made. Callisto has pale skin, flawless in his face after several surgeries, but still retains his asian genetics. He claims his nose is a little flatter than before and his cheekbones are too round, but no one really seems to notice. His hair is spiky and straight, and he likes to keep it a little long in the back. He wears glasses all the time, as he's legally blind without them. They were once a dark, deep brown, but now they appear more metallic gray. Another surgery side effect, but it is better than no sight at all. As he's missing the pointer finger of his right hand, he has retrained himself to be left handed, at least when it comes to fighting. He habitually uses his right hand for things at times. He is about twenty-nine years old now, living now in Mapleridge in a crummy apartment that he never finds the time to fix up. If he has a lot of money, which he probably does, he doesn't make it known. He's very frugal, and the only thing he tends to splurge on is video games, his knife collection, and cigarettes. He drinks but not enough to be alcoholic. Despite his smoking problem, he always does it outside so he doesn't smell much like smoke. He's into health and fitness, a lot, and actually enjoys yoga of all things. He goes to physical therapy about once a month for his leg as well as monthly doctor visits to keep a check on the condition of his heart. His life span has shortened in theory because of his condition, but he doesn't seem all that worried about it. Perhaps he's faking. Like your stereotypical Asian, he's good with electronics and martial arts. He also enjoys origami but doesn't do that very often. He doesn't care for Asian food that much, except perhaps a few rice dishes. He much prefers Italian food as he grew up on that a lot more.

Minstrel
Seeker
(my favorite character and best developed character ever)
Minstrel had everything going for him: looks, money, girlfriend, going for masters in robotics. But then he killed his dad, burned his house down, pushed his girlfriend out of a moving car, and no one really knows why. There is a reason for each event, and all the unmentioned events that were nearly as awful, but the reasons are ignored and only the headlines are read. No one cares about the context. They just want to tell a good story. "Hey, did you hear: that guy killed his dad." That's what people want to know. That's all anybody wants to know. Why did he do it? No one goes there. Maybe a few, but they're to worried to find the answers. After a time spent in hiding, the young man appeared as a Seeker in Mapleridge known only as Minstrel. His past is a mystery and so is his future. Even the Seekers have not found out everything there is to know about him, for he hides it rather well. To them, he's just a crazed, bloodthirsty sicko who wants to put every Gifted freak's head on a stake. That's what got him hired for the job. The Seekers like his go-getter attitude. A bad attitude is what makes a bad worker, but Minstrel has the best attitude towards his duties. It doesn't necessarily inspire the moral of the others, but Minstrel could care less. He just wants to amp his body count. On first meeting him, you would hardly think Minstrel was a psychotic killer. He acts very nonchalant about everything, and though he acts spontaneously it is still done with indifference, and he often makes comments about himself as if detriments are the only things he deserves. He is lazy, a bit standoffish, and demands things from others. He is always sleeping or dozing or lying around whenever and wherever he can. He makes messes and doesn't clean them up. He takes others' money or credit cards and just writes IOUs to them for later. If anything, he seems like a horrible, selfish, stupid person. That's an outside facade. He uses it specifically to put people off guard. He really is very thorough, with a meticulous scrutiny for detail. He is extensively creative and inventive, able to conjure insane responses to situations using the most extraordinary reasoning and ingenuity. He can weasel his way out of almost every predicament. It's a wonder he ever got into any in the first place. Minstrel has light tan skin with an ashen pallor to it and darker circles under his eyes from little to no sleep. A variety of scars mar his otherwise unblemished body. He has fiery red hair that always stands out, no matter where he is. Even if he stood against a red wall, he would still stand out. It is just that red. He has blue-gray eyes that appear very mixed, like rumbling storm clouds over the sea. He is roughly twenty years old.

Valo Faeling
Unity Experiment
[Valo Faeling is an experiment in Unity]
Valo has the ability to transform into a golem. A new golem form is created with each one of his birthdays. Each golem has its own element and name. He currently has eighteen golems, but he does not transform into them all. Each time he turns into one, the process of returning to human form takes longer. Theory states if he turns into a form too often, he will one day never be able to turn back into human. However, if this happens, he will die. In turn, the golem will die, for they cannot exist without the other. Certain transformations are sporadic and based on emotion while the rest are consciously performed. It is excruciatingly painful for him to transform as his body is literally being manipulated and transformed into the golem. He is fully awake and aware during the entire process as his adrenalin over fires to combat the pain, therefore keeping him awake. It is extremely dangerous for him to be interrupted during the transformation as he could break concentration and be trapped between the forms for extensive periods of time. Valo lived a relatively decent life out in the country with his parents and older brother. But something was wrong with Valo. He was always feeling weak, always tiring out. And he was far more susceptible to things than his brother. A common cold could leave him bedridden for a month, and he would not recover for another week or two. Doctors tried, but none could really help. Whatever was wrong with him, it wasn't something they knew of or how to treat. Medications soon became a staple in his diet. Valo Faeling is extremely sick with a disease that cannot be cured. He has moments of strength, but for the most part, he remains very weak and incapacitated. He hates it and would do anything for a solution. The family eventually moved to the city, and then, his older brother started killing people. The family was torn apart by it, and they moved around sporadically. Valo eventually wound up in the foster care system and the family moved to Mapleridge. He discovered his powers sometime later. When the Seekers began slaughtering the Gifted, he fled to the Unity Camp and has remained there ever since.

Mitchell Queen
Gifted
Mitchell Queen never thought much about things he could never explain. Suffice to say, it was a rude awakening when he discovered he had attained powers from that strange meteor strike. He has the power to project tangible extensions from the mind, making psychic creations through willpower and imagination alone. But this ability is not all-powerful. It has many dangerous effects, including warping the minds of others, igniting pain sensors, and even destroying parts of the brain. He doesn’t let that scare him though. He has figured his power out enough that he can play it safe. Mitchell always had a bloated self-image, and with the arrival of his powers, his egocentric, narcissistic views only expanded to greater heights. If these were the days of old, he would have run off and declared himself a god. Instead, he just used his ability to better his life. Mitchell grew up in a rich family. He never had to work a day in his life for anything, and so he never felt the need to. Even when his father gave him apportion of his money and kicked Mitchell out of the house, the idea of responsibility eluded him. He did not live in excess, but he spent just enough to get by, and lived a content life, going to bars every now and again, bedding whomever he chose, other typical fooling around. Then with the arrival of his power, he only had to snap his fingers, and whatever he desired would appear to him. Now everything came easy to him. Everything except people. But just because his ability had nothing to do with others’ minds did not mean he was hindered at all. He is charming, handsome, and he knows how to attract a woman, even though it is through manipulation and other twisted games. That was how he caught Isabel. She was a criminal. Some sort of freelancing rebel who broke the rules because it was fun, or some other reason that Mitchell could care less about. He’d seen her around. And the looks she sent his way did not escape him. Imagine his surprise when he found her in his house. She had the intent of stealing probably, so he decided to teach her a lesson. He locked her in his room and kept her a prisoner. Eventually, he learned of her powers, and she learned of his. Finding this one, tiny similarity, he took the moment to use her. They got to know each other, then they started to actually like each other. A lot. Maybe even love. But Mitchell's idea of love was a little twisted. He still viewed her as his possession. He abused her. Quite often. But most of the time, things were sunny and happy, and they started making a life together. Perhaps because of his charm and wit or the fact that he was also a gifted and therefore a kindred spirit, but Isabel was never fully aware how trapped she was. They now live in Unity together, since one nosy Seeker started delving into exactly how Mitchell accumulated so much wealth in such a short span of time. Mitchell plays the good soldier to the group, but he really is just looking out for himself.

Pari Yarang
Seeker
Originally from Thailand, Pari never thought things could get worse than the day his father was killed. In fact, after his father's death, things began to actually look up. His mother remarried to a nice American man, and Pari, his mother, and his little sister, went to live in America with the man and his family. They left behind their dingy shack in the Thai slums and lived in a clean, wealthy suburb. Pari put the past behind him, marking down his father's death as a horrible event that had to occur in order for he and his family to be free. But he was wrong. Not long after the Gifted were discovered, Pari's step father, mother, and little sister were killed by the Gifted. Pari and his step-sister barely made it out alive. He found out about the Seekers and gladly joined them, hell bent on getting his revenge on the ones that took his happiness away. Pari is now twenty-three years old.

Siobhan Foster
Seeker
One of the less psychotic Seekers about the place, Siobhan (pronounced shiv-awn) joined the Seekers only because her step-brother did, and after witnessing the horrible things the Gifted did, she decided to stay full time. Siobhan was born in America to British father and Irish mother. Her mother died when she was barely one years old. Her father grieved for a long time, but he took comfort in his daughter. And then, after he had put his wife's death behind him, he met and fell in love with a beautiful Thai woman during a particularly long business trip in that country. After a year, they were married and brought to live with him and Siobhan. She got along very well with her step siblings. There wasn't any cause for jealousy or anything of that sort. They lived and acted like a normal family. Then Gifted slaughtered her father, step-mother, and step-sister. She and her step-brother Pari fled. He eventually sought out the Seekers and joined them, Siobhan following after. She now fights for her own reasons rather than just because her brother is. She worries about him though. He is rather hell bent on revenge. Siobhan is nineteen years old.

Ravage
Criminal Gifted
(Stolen from the asylum and brought here)
"The Bomber". Ravage isn't his real name, but he'll never admit to it. He gave it to himself after he successfully killed a group of teenagers at a rave. There wasn't much left of them, as if they had been ravaged by wild animals.
